BOXPARK have opened their new venue next to Liverpool Street station.
The new BOXHALL City food hall is housed in the Metropolitan Arcade, a grand Edwardian building originally opened in 1912, and has the capacity for 800 people.
There are 13 vendors at the location, including a new initiative called Kitchen No 8 where a rotating rota of renowned chefs will offer new flavours and culinary ideas to customers.
Ms Joyce K, star of Channel 4’s Five Star Chef: Britain’s Next Great Chef, has been revealed as the first in Kitchen No. 8 and will be offering Congolese-inspired dishes from April 10th.
James Cochran, who has won the Great British Menu twice, will take over later in the year with his signature fusion of British and Caribbean cuisine.

Eggslut: One for you egg lovers. Offers egg-centric brunch dishes.
Inamo Sukoshi: Sushi and Asian fusion street food.
Soft Serve Society: Soft serve ice cream with unique flavours such as charcoal coconut and Matcha Madness.
Sourdough Sophia: A bakery born from lockdown which started in founder Sophia and Jesse’s dining room to connect with their community.
Little Bao Boy: Homemade Bao Buns and Asian food with a Western twist.
Club Mexicana: Vegan Mexican food.

Gaucho: An Argentinian steak house that also sells burgers and hot dogs.
Old Chang Kee: known for their curry puffs and Singaporean street food.
Burger & Beyond: Dry-aged burgers, known for their sides.
Farzi London: A fine dining Indian restaurant, its main brick and mortar site is near Piccadilly Circus.
Baked Bird: The first physical location for this chicken-loving eatery.
Nativo: Latin American and Japanese fusion.
Boki Coffee: An independent coffee kiosk originally based in Wembley.
The Arcade is different from the iconic black containers that BOXPARK fans have come to expect, with many of its original features being pivotal in its design.
Mike Sinclair, director of the architecture and design company Macaulay Sinclair which is behind BOXHALL, said: “When it comes to heritage sites, we have a deep understanding of how to develop designs that are respectful of the building’s history while still creating a dynamic and engaging dining environment.

“Important features have been meticulously preserved and showcased, including exposed steelwork beams and columns, original concrete flooring and ceilings, and original timber shopfronts, which have been adapted into kitchen frontages.
“The stand-out feature is undoubtedly the linear arcade space and its grand canopy.”
BOXHALL also plans to open a rooftop terrace later this year.
