WATCH: World Book Day: London creatives ditch scrolling for writing at pub club

Rewrite Club is a creative safe space for writers from all backgrounds who work 9-5 jobs and don’t always have time to commit to their creative projects.

With World Book Day on 5 March, the event is a reminder of the power books, reading, and writing can have on us. This community group embraces the magic of storytelling.

Every Monday, members spend an hour and a half working on independent projects at the Salisbury Pub in Harringay. Afterwards, an optional networking event takes place.

The club consists of novelists, screenwriters, students, and literature fans.

They believe that volunteer-led meetups like this are crucial, as they give people the opportunity to meet like-minded creatives in the same area.
