London Colour Walk celebrates its ninth anniversary at Old Spitalfields Market

At Old Spitalfields Market, the London Colour Walk marked its ninth birthday in style, strutting through East London dressed to the nines.

What began as a small gathering has become one of the capital’s most joyful and eye-catching fashion events.

Founded in 2016, the London Colour Walk has grown into a monthly celebration of creativity, self-expression, and community.

Once a month, participants meet, dress boldly, and take to the streets together, transforming familiar parts of the city into a sea of vibrant colours and shapes.

For this anniversary edition, the historic setting of Old Spitalfields Market was turned into a vibrant parade of textures, tones, and personalities.

From daring patterns and clashing prints to vintage finds and handmade pieces, walkers fully embrace “dopamine dressing,” the idea that bright, expressive clothing can lift mood and boost confidence.

The walk attracts artists, designers, photographers, and fashion lovers from across the capital and beyond.

Nine years on, the London Colour Walk continues to prove that fashion doesn’t have to follow rules, and that colour has the power to connect people, brighten streets, and turn an ordinary walk into something extraordinary.
