WATCH: London’s biggest indoor flea market

London’s biggest indoor flea market took place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford on Sunday 7 July.

In a multi-storey car park next to the V&A Storeroom, thousands descended upon the Giant Flea to peruse various items of furniture, memorabilia and figurines.

Thousands attended the event with many having to call taxis at the end to transport all their wares.

Organiser Dali Chadwick said: “The Giant Flea is always a massive sell out event.

“The traders that we get are not only creative and do quite selective pieces but we also get house removal clearance people so you can find some really special pieces.

Hackney Flea today has been great, even though it was meant to be thunderstorms, even though it’s hot and muggy, even though it’s not the right time of year, it’s been great.”

David Bridgeman, 36, is the owner of Goods In and has been trading at fairs for five years and started a physical shop in Leeds recently.

He said: “It’s been crazy busy, it’s been really good and it always is.

“There are thousands of people here and thousands of things to see.”
