A new bespoke event has launched in London’s club scene, seeking to blend the elegance of Mayfair venues with the gritty underground of London rave culture.
Loronic put on its opening event, Dark Desires, at Studio 45 in Shoreditch on December 12.
Started by three friends: Loren, Ron Stock and Nic Cammelli, they hope to be a point of difference for London’s nightlife.
Cammelli said: “We don’t care about money, we don’t care about quantity. We just care about the experience.”
Loronic intends to put on a limited number of events every year, focusing on quality and variety, rather than a mass production of a similar event, according to Stock.
There is no question that London’s nightlife is not what it once was.
Astronomical drink prices and a series of closed venues do not inspire confidence in our hopes for future dancing prospects – could this be a sign of a revival?
