Chloe Kelly walks out ahead of her players before her match against Yanited

England megastar Chloe Kelly relishes Baller League challenge

England hero Chloe Kelly stressed how exciting and rewarding it is to be a Baller League manager ahead of her side’s draw against Yanited.

Spreading from England to Germany in March 2025, Baller League is an influencer-led six-a-side football league featuring ex-professional players and an unorthodox ruleset.

In season one Kelly managed Wembley Rangers alongside Ian Wright, however for season two, the two-time Euros winner has founded her own team, Clutch FC.

The former Manchester City player said: “I’m really enjoying being at Baller League, my players are incredible.

“I love everyone, and they’re amazing to work with.

“I am looking forward to the season ahead.”

Although Kelly is only 27 and still focused on her playing career, she has not ruled out management in the future, however she clarified right now she is focused solely on Baller League.

Reflecting on her footballing roots, the ex-Everton player credited her style to playing in cages in Southall when she was younger.

The Arsenal winger said: “Cage football can be quite daunting, but the confidence that you get from those sessions is incredible.

“The creativity, the confidence, the 1v1 skill — you can see a lot of it in Baller League.”

In matchday two, Kelly’s side fell to a 3-3 draw against content creator Angry Ginge’s Yanited after Kadell Daniel buried home in the last-minute winner, meaning Clutch FC are still yet to register a Baller League win.

And due to Kelly’s five years spent on the blue side of Manchester, Salford-born Angry Ginge was desperate to secure the win.

But Kelly said: “I don’t play mind games; I’m here to win.

“You can see in my kit I’m proud to represent London — a lioness in the shape of the London map.”

Clutch FCs next Baller League fixture is an Arsenal derby, as they come up against league leaders N5 FC.

N5 — who are unbeaten this season — are managed by Arsenal Invincibles Robert Pires and Jens Lehmann, as well as YouTuber Eman ‘SV2’ Balogun, who supports the Gunners.
