Arsenal fans wandering outside of the Emirates Stadium have shared their thoughts on the club’s historic title win after the lengthy celebrations finally cooled.
The North London team finished top of the Premier League for the first time in 22 years with 85 points – seven points higher than serial winners Manchester City, who were the runners up.
However, Gunners fans’ soon experienced a stinging finale to their season after the team lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on penalties just days later.
Reflecting upon the highs and lows of their different competitive campaigns, the Arsenal fans are confident in the team looking ahead to next season under the manager Mikel Arteta.
Hopes are elevated that Arteta can continue to win silverware for the club – as well as finally deliver them their long-awaited first European trophy.
