WATCH: London’s professional wrestling scene kicks off 2026 with a bang

One of London’s biggest wrestling communities kicked off 2026 with a bang.

Hustle Wrestling hosts monthly professional wrestling events in Colour Factory Nightclub, near Hackney Wick Overground station, and has developed a significant following.

Fans flocked to East London for their January event to see stars such as Rayne Leverkusen battle it out in the ring in front of a boisterous crowd and dazzling lights.

Professional wrestling first gained traction in the UK in the 1930s, but many grew to love professional wrestling as a sport through American institutions like World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE.

One Hustle Wrestling fan said: “It’s like that child in you that wants to get out and do something crazy. Life gets very boring and reality sucks, so this is an escape to go and do something much more interesting.”

Another fan said: “I love wrestling because it’s a great way to tell stories. I’ve been interested ever since I was a little kid and the stories they tell here at Hustle are some of the best – you really get invested in the characters and the people.”

Hustle’s next event takes place back in the Colour Factory on 8 February.
